Fascial Integrative
 Therapy™

Fascial Integrative Therapy™ recognizes the importance of the Fascial and CranioSacral systems and considers all aspects of the human body, when dealing with pain and dysfunction.  It is based upon the principles of Myofascial Release and CranioSacral Therapy but carries them through to the next level.

It begins by looking at the body's structural and functional imbalances using common sense and engineering principles.  The next step starts the intricate process of putting the puzzle together identifying possible causes for these imbalances.

For example, a person who stands with a forward head, hunched shoulders or a swayed back is out of alignment and may be putting abnormal stress on organs, joints and soft tissue in the body, which may be contributing to the pain and dysfunction that person is experiencing.  This gentle therapy then seeks to identify the causes of the misalignment and bring the body back into balance.

Treatment consists of utilizing gentle hands on techniques to remove fascial restrictions and rebalance the CranioSacral rhythm to allow the body to heal itself.  The pressure of the touch is no more than the weight of a nickel.  That simple act is usually enough to begin pain relief and restore function.  The goal is to balance the body to relieve stress on all other body systems, organs, joints, muscles, etc.

This approach also addresses the emotional component of pain and dysfunction and the cell memories that are generally ignored or discounted in standard American medical practice.
